Cookie Policy

Effective date: April 8, 2026
Last updated: April 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how En ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on whisper.day.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in.

2. Cookies We Use

En uses only essential cookies required for the Service to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | |---|---|---|---| | sb-[project]-auth-token | Supabase | Stores your authentication session so you remain logged in | Session / up to 1 week | | sb-[project]-auth-token.0 | Supabase | Auth token fragment (split cookie for size limits) | Session / up to 1 week |

These cookies are set by Supabase, our authentication and database provider, when you sign in with Google.

3. We Do Not Use

  • Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Fingerprinting or other persistent identifiers

4. Legal Basis

Essential cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest (and your implied consent when using the Service) to provide a functioning, secure login experience. These cookies are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.

For users in the EU/EEA/UK, we rely on the "strictly necessary" exemption under the ePrivacy Directive, which means we do not require a separate consent banner for these cookies.

5. Managing Cookies

Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, disabling them will prevent you from staying logged in to En.

You can manage or delete cookies via your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

You can also use your browser in private/incognito mode, in which case cookies are deleted when you close the window.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Supabase may set cookies as described in Section 2. Please refer to Supabase's Privacy Policy for more information.

When you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies during the OAuth process. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies. We will update the "Last updated" date accordingly.
