How a reading is composed
Every Whisper starts with calculation, not with a guess. Depending on the tradition, Whisper uses astronomical positions, calendar cycles or date arithmetic to find today’s signal for you — your Sun and Moon positions, your BaZi Day Master, your Personal Day number, your Mayan day sign, and so on.
The traditions stay distinct. AI then reads where they converge, where they pull in different directions, and what that tension might offer as a perspective for today. The result is a single reflection with a clear theme and something small to lean into.
Rituals work differently: Tarot, Runes and I Ching make a fresh random draw on our server and save it. AI never picks the card, rune or hexagram. For the full details — inputs, calculations and current simplifications for every tradition — see our methods.

What is Whisper?

Is Whisper free?
Yes. The Free plan is permanently free and includes your Daily Whisper, all fifteen traditions, the What spoke breakdown and your Compass Self Portrait. Plus (US$4.99/month) and Premium (US$12.99/month) add more daily rituals and Ask Whisper.
Do I need to know my birth time?
No. A birth date is enough to begin. If you add a birth time and place, Whisper can include details that depend on them, such as the Moon sign, Rising sign and BaZi hour pillar. When they are missing, those details are left out rather than guessed.

How is AI used?
Calculations and random draws determine the underlying symbols — AI does not choose your card, rune or hexagram. AI turns the calculated signals into a readable, personal reflection, and in Premium answers follow-up questions about a saved reading.
Does Whisper predict the future?
No. Whisper offers symbolic perspectives for reflection and entertainment. It does not predict events or replace medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Can I use Whisper on my phone?
Yes. Whisper works in any modern mobile or desktop browser. On a phone you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Can I cancel a paid plan at any time?
Yes. Cancel in Settings → Billing. Renewals stop and paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account continues on the Free plan.
